Ellen is an east-west hybrid who currently calls Beijing her home. 

As a filmmaker and producer, she makes factual documentary programs for broadcasters such as BBC, CBS, ZDF, Danish Broadcasting Company, and branded-content material for corporate clients like Hewlett Packard, Heineken and Dupont. 

On the rare occasion when she's cut off from all communication devices, Ellen can be spotted backpacking in the Himalayan Mountains looking for wild life and tribal handicrafts.
